The sustainable Sophia Silk Tote Bag is made with hand-selected, upcycled 100% crepe silk saris. Crepe silk is known as some of the purest silk worldwide, and is revered for its smooth, velvety texture, and heavy weight. The saris used to make the Sophia bags were worn by Indian women, before being selected & repurposed by Sissel Edelbo. The material tells the story of the life and love of the previous owner, from one woman to another. 

Each bag is lined with durable black 100% recycled canvas, and is shaped with a layer of padding to keep your belongings safe. Inside, there is a pocket to help keep smaller items organized. Add to any outfit to brighten it up!
